Copyright & Publisher Policy

SwipelyNews is run by one independent developer. Every story credits the outlet, shows a short AI summary, and links prominently to the original article. We don't republish full articles, and we respect publishers' robots.txt and opt-out choices (see SwipelyNewsBot).
Report a copyright issue
Email support@swipelynews.com with the subject "Copyright notice", and include:
- who you are and how to reach you (and, if you act for someone else, whom you represent);
- the work you believe is infringed (e.g. the article, photo or video, with a link);
- where it is on SwipelyNews: the story link (
https://swipelynews.com/r/…, from Share in the App), or a description (outlet, headline, date); - a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorised by the rights holder or the law;
- a statement that your notice is accurate, and that you're the rights holder or authorised to act for them (for US DMCA notices: under penalty of perjury);
- your signature (a typed full name is fine).
We usually reply within a few working days. We may remove the content while we check. You can report other illegal content the same way (subject: "Legal notice").
Counter-notice: if your content was removed and you think that was a mistake, reply to our email with your reasons. For US copyright removals, include the elements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
Publishers: to stop us using your content, email support@swipelynews.com with the subject "Publisher opt-out" (or block "SwipelyNewsBot" in robots.txt). We remove existing stories and their media within 48 hours.
Repeat infringers: we stop using sources that repeatedly carry content they aren't entitled to.
